Shan Za

A&I:
* Reduces food stagnation & strengthens the Stomach: stagnation from undigested starchy foods

- Inhibits lactation: to help with discontinuing nursing

- Facilitates smooth flow of Liver qi: constrained Liver qi (stifling sensation & distention in the epigastrium or ribs, belching, & loss of appetite)

C&C:
- Nursing mothers (OBVIOUSLY!)

Dosage:
- up to 15g as powder
- up to 30g in decoction
- large doses (up to 60g) to inhibit lactation
- Raw - Neutral - reduce & guide out
- Dry Fry - Warm - strengthen Spleen, improve appetite, & inhibit lactation.
- Powder - stronger for aiding in the digestion of grains.
Mai Ya
