Surgical
this type of insurance pays all or part of the surgeon's fees for an operation. The policy usually lists the type of surgeries covered and the maximum amount. The higher the coverage the higher the premium.
Physician
this type of insurance helps pay for physician's care that is not surgical. Like the visit to Dr. Gordon. It also covers fees for nonsurgical care, X-rays, and lab tests like your MRI on you knee.
