Peristalsis:
muscle contractions of the intestines that moves chyme through its passage of the intestines
Jaundice:
a yellowing of the skin and/or eyes due to liver dysfunction resulting in the buildup of bilirubin a component of bile.
Colostomy (iliostomy):
A surigical openings in the abdominal wall of the large colon (or ileum, the last section of the small intestine) into which a bag is attached to collect fecal matter when the intestine is blocked or otherwise non-functioning.
