Goals for which specific steps to achievement are identifiable, (observable, countable, and specific).

Goals for which the specific steps required to achieve them are not discernable (I.e., no observable, no countable, and ambiguous).

Level of aspiration

The compromise between ideal goals and more realistic expectations.

Hidden agendas

Personal goals that are unknown to other group members and are at cross purposes with the dominant group goals.
