What is a presidential system?

System of government where president and Congress each separately derived their Authority



From being elected by the people



And having a fixed term of office

The American legislative branch of government



Consists of the house of Representatives and the Senate

A system of government where an elected president with a fixed term of office



Shares executive power with a Prime Minister and cabinet
