Job 42:1-2

Then Job answered the Lord , and said, I know that thou canst do every thing , and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 51:6

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Jeremiah 17:10

I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Hebrews 4:12, Luke 2:35

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 7:9

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

Amos 4:13

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The Lord , The God of hosts, is his name.

This scripture shows that we only know the mind of God by his declaring it to us not by our feelings or thoughts.

Psalm 33:11

The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Job 1:5

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Matthew 15:19

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Deuteronomy 19:6

Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.

Shows that the heart represents emotions in the Bible. Just like people use a ❤ symbol to represent the feeling of love.

Psalm 38:9

Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
