Set-up/Shot/Take |
ASet-up is shooting from a particular camera position. Different Shots can betaken from the same setup (e.g. a wide shot and then a close-up). Each shot isrepeated with different Takes until the Director is satisfied artistically andtechnically. |

Slate |
Clapperboard used to synchronise image and sound and identify shots. Used at the frontof every take or as an end slate. |

SecondCamera |
Theaddition of another camera to the main unit which will then shoot at the sametime as the main camera but from a different angle. |

Pick-up |
Ascene or shot or sound recording which is done some time after it wasoriginally scheduled. It may be done during Principal Photography or inPost-Production. |
