Igneous rocks originate when molten magma cools and solidifies. Can occur on Earth's surface or beneath.
Crystal Form
The external appearance of a mineral as determined by its internal arrangement of atmos.
Tetrahedron
All silicates have the same fundamental building block, the silicon-oxygen. Tetrahendron (a positively charged ion). Not a compound, is an ION.
Olivine
Isolated Tetrahedra, low silicon content.
