What are double-blind trials?
It's where neither the patient or the doctor know which one is the placebo and which is the real substance.
What's a placebo?
It's a dummy drug.
What's a 'gateway drug'?
It's a drug which leads you to becoming addicted to more hard drugs. Eg. Cannabis --> Cocaine.
What is sexual reproduction?
It's a fusion of a male and female gamete, to produce a fertilised cell.
What is asexual reproduction?
It's when the offspring is produced from a division of cells in one parent, only needing one gamete. This makes the offspring genetically identical to the parent.
What are Extremophiles?
Plants that can survive in extreme conditions.
