Ulcerative Colitis is a Relapsing and Remitting Inflammatory Condition of the Colonic Mucosa.



(i.e. there are Periods of Remission followed by Relapse Flares).



Pathology
Unknown; there is a Genetic Component. Adhesive Expressing Strains of E.Coli have been Implicated.
