tremors of the tongue, damage to the CNS and ENS

bulbar involvment.
what two diseases has bulbar involvment as a rounte of dysphagia?
MS and MG
what is idiopathis UES dysfuction?
cricopharnygeal dysfunction. the muscle do not function in sequence with each other.
what are some local lesions that can cause dysphagia?
Head and neck tumors.
Abscess, congenital web, prior surgical resection
Enlarged thyroid gland
Cervical hypertrophic osteoarthropathy and cervical osteoarthritis (seen with increased kyphosis)
what is zenkers diverticulumn?
outpouching of the pos phayngeal wall above the UES.
who is zenker diverticulumn more common in (M or F)
