What is the normal incoming fuel Gas pressure in the power 3 block?

460 psi

What is the high pressure alarm set at on the fuel Gas system?

470 psi

What are the PSV's on the P3 gas system set at?

500 psi

Describe the hazards of blowing down the fuel Gas separator to the distillate tank.

The fuel system runs at a higher pressure than the distillate tank PSV, if it is blown down to fast or all the liquid is blown out, it could lead to over pressuring of the tank or it could be over filled.

When a high level is obtained in D1300 what should be done?

Distillate should be transferred to D1310

If a gas turbine that is blending offgas trips, what has to be done prior to be given the permissive to start?

The gas valves in the GC skid should be blocked in and the header should be purged via the vents US of the main fuel Gas sso. The valve is normally manually blocked in and will need to be unblocked until complete.

What cans have spark plugs?

2 and 3

What cans have flame detectors?

11, 12, 13, and 14.

What is the purpose of the block 38 fuel Gas letdown station?

To reduce HP gas to 275# for use by the low pressure fuel Gas users throughout the site.

Explain the function of the primary and monitor regulators on block 38 fuel Gas letdown station.

While one is controlling the pressure at 270 psi the other will be on standby with the pressure setting 5 psi below the one in service. The monitor regulators are designed to take over pressure control should the primary regulator fail. The upstream monitors are set at 280 psi and the downstream monitors are set at 285 psi.
