Why are organs separated into 3 categories and what are the characteristics of each? |
They differ based on structure and function.
Zang organs are solid and related to storage. They must be in a constant state of fullness of vital substances
Fu organs are hollow and transmit fluids, wastes, etc. They are in a constant state of transformation of being empty and full.
Extra fu organs are structurally like fu organs, but functionally like zang organs.
