Describe the emergency communications procedures for emergencies within Forest Control Zone.

All aerodrome emergency communications are to be delivered via the direct line to RFS in accordance with the Emergency Message Form. RFS will in turn pass relevant info to Police and Ambulance services.



In the event that the crash alarm has been activated relevant details are to be passed over the radio directly to the Fire Chief.

Describe the procedures relating to RFS vehicles on the declaration of a Full Emergency?

Prior to the emergency aircraft landing, RFS require a clearance to operate on the maneuvering area. After arriving emergency traffic lands RFS have automatic access to the maneuvering area and this remains until the Fire Chief reports complete.

Describe the procedures relating to RFS vehicles on the declaration of a Local Standby.

RFS will remain on the apron outside the RFS building until the emergency is upgraded or RFS is told to stand down / emergency cancelled. Stand-down of rescue fire services will be initiated by ATC following advice from the emergency aircraft or by the Fire Chief in all other cases.

In the event of an emergency outside the the FZ CTR, to whom shall the controller deliver the Emergency Message Form and who is responsible for notifying the appropriate emergency services.

To CH MTDM/SPOD via the direct line to CH. They will in turn notify the appropriate emergency services.
