What is the first step in Foreign Body Obstruction / Cardiac Arrest?

Confirm cardiac arrest & start CPR while defibrillation pads are applied.

Remove the FBO from the airway.

Maintain an open airway.

Assess for spontaneous respirations.

If respirations are present, what will you consider now?

Administer O2 (if respirations are present)

If O2 via NRB is insufficient, what will you want to do now?

Assist patient with the BVM if needed.
