ascending- with good followed by crutches and bad


descending- with bad followed by crutches and good

when to use crutches

when the athlete cannot walk without a limp after an injury, the athlete needs crutches

stretching/strengthening for ankle rehab

towel stretches, BAPS board,marble pickup, theraband, towel

treatment for blisters

donut to prevent further tearing or aggravation


if cutting: cut to drain fluid, pressure pad, cut loose skin when healed


torn: cut halfway around, flip skin back and clean, cover with dressing, remove dead skin when underlying tissue has hardened

prevention for ingrown toenails

cut nails straight across, left long enough that it is clear of underlying tissue
