Direct attack
uses short burst of water at the base of the fire. Avoid disturbing thermal layer, shut down your line when the fire darkens
Indirect attack
Used when you are unable to enter structure due to intense fire conditions. Water is directed at the ceiling & play back & forth. Once the fire has been ventilated, the line should be advance for a direct attack.

**Should not be used when there may be trapped victims or when fire spread can not be contained.**
Combination attack
Combines playing stream off ceiling and directly onto the base of the fire using T O or Z pattern.
