Lords and Vassals

When a noble man bound himself in serive to a lord he swore a solem oath to be faithful to his vows and lord. He then became the lords Vassal. In return the vassal recived his fief which was usually land. Vassals main job was warfare. Sometimes paid extra taxes to help his lord.

Muhammad spoke his visions and he first converted his wife. He was having trouble psreading his word though. He and his wife travelled to a city 25 miles north called Medina. Here he spread his word and the city was converting tribe by tribe.
