4) The statement: "I certify that this aircraft has been inspected in accordance with (insert type) inspection and a list of discrepancies and unairworthy items dated (date) has been provided for the aircraft owner/operator."


5) For Progressive inspections a statement similar to the one above but with more detail as to what was inspected should be included, along with a reference to a list of unairworthy items if any were found.

Who may perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration on an aircraft?
Anyone may perform anything in any of these 3 categories IF:
1) They are a mechanic certified to perform the repair/alteration
or
2) They are supervised my a mechanic certified to perform the repair/alteration who will sign off the repair/alteration.

3) A person holding a Repairman certificate issued by a part 145 Repar Station.

*The exception to this rule is Inspections; Only a mechanic certified to do inspections may perform them or sign them off.*

1) A description of the work performed
2) Reference to the Acceptable Data that was used in the repair
3) The date that the work was COMPLETED
