sympathy
sorrow, pitty, or concern that can make a client feel like you're saying something like "wow, your life sucks!" - Not theraputic. Empathy is better approach
transpersonal communication
communication between a person and a spiritual entity (often "higher power" such as God)
verbal communication
Uses SPOKEN OR WRITTEN words. Highly dependant on vocabulary, word useage, pacing, intomation, clarity and timing.
