Magazines are not APA, no university or professional org affiliation, usually has discontinuous pages, usually contains ads and color pics, no instructions on how to submit

Inducements for Research Participation

When providing monetary compensation make sure that:



incentives aren't excessive


or inappropriate - creating a dual relationship or breaking the law

If there is no author, use the title or if it's too long then the first few words in place of the author's last name. You can capitalize, use quotations or italicize

Thesis Statement

A course syllabus should contain:

If participating in research is a requirement then a student MUST be permitted to decline and given a choice of an equitable substitute project
