What are ethics?
|
Ethics are concerned with what we ought to do - what is right, wrong, unfair, bad. Essentially, we want to benefit and not harm, while maintaining standards.

& integrity: respect: respecting rights (privacy, autonomy, confidentiality, culture and informed consent. beneficence: ensuring benefit exists and outweighs risk justice: burden we place on ppts |

Discuss Multiple relationships |

Self-harm, harm towards others and the psych. Conflict between respect/confidentiality and protecting from harm (non-mal). Document everything. |
