PLOT

EXPOSITION

the process by which background information is given; a "stable" situation is introduced

COMPLICATION

this is brought about from the FALLING ACTION; this is the release of tension built from the onset of the conflict, establishing another "stable" situation. This can be closed with all loose ends tied or open and not so clear
