Acetaminophen
Fever reducer for pediatric patients with extended transport time. Administration: orally; children- 10mg/kg
Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA)
Chest pain suggestive of Myocardial Infarction. Adults: 81-325 mg orally
Albuterol
Used to treat reversable airway obstruction. Adults: 2.5mg/3cc saline (max 5mg/6cc) Kids: 2.5mg/3cc saline
Activated Charcoal
Poisoning with an agent that is adsorbed by activated charcoal. Adults: 60-100 grams Kids: 30-60 grams
Epinephrine
Anaphylaxia and/or asthma not responsive to standard treatments. Epi Pen or 1:1000 (1m/1cc) restricted only to 0.3 cc syringes
Naloxone
(Narcan)
For complete or partial reversal of narcardic depression. Adults: 0.4mg SQ/IM (MAX 2.0mg MCEP needed for greater dose)
Nitroglycerin
Ischemic Chest Pain, anginal pain. 1x.04 mg tablets. 100 systolic, 60-120HR, (MAX 3tabs, more by MCEP)
