Orbicularis oculi
Inn: Zygomatic branches of facial(CN VII)
Act: wink or blink gently
Ins: Lateral portion of eye fossa, tip of electrode 25 degrees with skin medially and downward.
Orbicularis Oris
Inn: bucal branch of facial nerve
Act: pucker lips
Ins: 1 finger breadth lateral to angle of mouth, insert at 20 degrees and advance towards upper or lower lip
Masseter
Inn: N to masseter, from ant trunk of mandibular nerve
Act: clench teeth
Ins: 1 finger breadth post to anterior edge of muscle, and 1 fb cephalad to lower edge of mandible
Tongue
Inn: Hypoglassal (CNXII)
Act: stick tongue out
Insertion: one side of tongue, then pt should relax and bring tongue back into mouth and clsoe it.
Frontalis
Inn: Temporal branch of Facial (CNVII)
Act: raise eyebrows
Ins: 1 FB superior to orbital margin, 2 fingers from midline
Supraspinatus
Inn: Suprascapular nerve, upper trunk, C5, C6
Act: Ext rotate humerous
Ins: supraspinatous fossa, just above middle of spine of scapula
Trapezius
Inn: Spinal accessory (CNXI), C3 and C4
Act: Shrug shoulder
Ins: Angle of neck and shoulder
Teres Minor
Inn: Axillary nerve, post cord, post division, upper trunk, C5-C6
Act: externally rotate humerous
Ins: 1/3 between acromion and inferior angle of scapula
Serratus anterior
Inn: Long thoracic, C567
Act: press hand against resistance, protraction of shoulder
Ins: Just lateral to inferior angle of scapula
Rhomboids
Inn: Dorsal Scapular, C5
Act: retract scapula
Ins: midway between scauplar spine and inferior angle of scapula, just medial to border of scapula
Pectoralis major, clavicular head
lateral pectoral nerve, lateral cord, ant division, upper trunk, C5-6
Act: horizontally adduct arm or int rotate shoulder
Ins: medial to neck of humerous in ant axillary fold
Pectoralis major, sternocostal head
Inn: Medial pectoral nerve, Medial cord, Ant division, middle and lower trunk, C7,8,T1

Act: Flex distal phalanx of thumb
Ins: Middle of forearm, on radial aspect just volar to radius
Biceps femoris (short head)
Sciatic (peroneal division), posterior division of sacral plexus, L5,S1,S2
Act: Flex knee
Ins: Just media to tendon of long head, four FB proximal to fibular head
Tibialis posterior
Tibial N, Sciatic N, Ant div Sacral Plexus, L5,S1
Act: Invert ankle in plnatar flexion
ins: 1 hand breadth distal to tibial tuberosity, 1 fb off medial edge of tibia. Go trhrough soleus and FDL
