What does urine contain
mostly water, with urea, dissolved salts and other organic compounds
osmoregulation
control of water levels in the blood. The hypothalamus in the brain detects the levels of water in the blood and releases varying levels of ADH which travels to the kidney. If there is a lot of ADH, more water will be reabsorbed into the blood, which changes the levels of water in urine.
