TO BRING THE DISTRESS SIGNAL UNIT INTO OPERATION IN THE QFRS REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES
PLACE DSU IN STANDBY MODE by removing the key which will emit a 2sec self test alarm and led will flash...

ACTIVATE PRE ALARM WARNING (when stationary it activates after 20 seconds move unit to cancel the alarm)

ACTIVATE AUTOMATIC ALARM ( remain stationary further 8secs press red activation button twice or insert key to cxl)

OPOERATE MANUAL ALARM (RED Button - once for manual mode and twice to cxl)

BATTERY REPLACEMENT... ( date and record on battery/maintenance sheet)

ACTIVATE AUTOMATIC ALARM

CHECK THE BATTERIES...
Open the battery compartment and check for corossion/deterioration...

Record information on inspection sheet...

Clean the unit with mild solution of soap and water in a safe area...
