What is dualism?
Dualism is the belief that there are two fundamentally diferent types of "stuff" (mental and physical) in the universe. Mind and Body are completely SEPERATE.

(How is my mind connected to my body?)

Identify and apply the features of dualism...
Ex. 1:

What is the usual dualistic view of the the relationship between compeletely seperate physical and mental "stuff"?
Interactionalism!

For example.. You hear a song (physical) and remember your fist love (mental).. then you call him/her (physical).
It is Dualistic Interactionalism.

Why does materialism contradict dualism?
Because if the only things that exists are physical, mind does not exist at all.
2 problems with Dualism, pertaining to mind-body...
If the mind and body are seperate, how does the mind know to react with YOUR body and not someone elses? how does the Body know to react with YOUR MIND?
