bronchospasm caused by: acute asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, toxic gas inhalation, near drowning, drug overdose, pulmonary edema, and crush syndrome: suspected hyperkalemia, crush force >4 hours

Cardiovascular: tachycardia, Hypertension
Respiratory: cough, wheezing
Neurological: tremors, nervousness, headache/ dizziness

administration
5mg in 6cc NS by hand held nebulizer/ mask over 5-15 minutes. May repeat PRN

Crush syndrome: 5mg in 6cc NS continuous mask nebulizer
pediatric dose
0-1 year old= 2.5mg. in 3cc NS by hand held nebulizer/ mask over 5-15 min.. May repeat PRN
Over 1 year old: same as adult dose
Crush syndrome: same as adult dose
