Dramatic Irony
The audience knows something that the character(s) do not.

ex: [Romeo and Juliet]
Romeo doesn't know Juliet is still alive so he kills himself. The audience knows Juliet is alive.
Aside
A remark or passage by a character in a play that is intended to be heard by the audience but unheard by other characters in the play.

ex: [Romeo and Juliet]
ROMEO [Aside.]: Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this? JULIET: 'Tis but thy name that is my enemy.
Dramatic Foil
When two characters characteristics clash.

ex: [Romeo and Juliet]
Juliet wants to know what had happened to Romeo but the Nurse keeps joking around.
Monologue
A long speech given by a character.

Soliloquy
A long speech to ones self.
