Regulation Signs

Normally are white rectangles with black letters or symbols. Sometimes are different shapes and use red letters and symbols

Warning signs

Normally are yellow and diamond shaped with black letters or symbols

Destination Signs

Are green with white letters and symbols

Service Signs

Are blue with white letters and symbols. Shows where nearest services are: rest, gas, etc.

Definition of stop sign

Come to a full stop before crosswalk or intersection and yield right

Definition of yield sign

Decrease speed as you reach intersection and yield right. Must come to a complete stop and check traffic

Work Area signs

Orange and black. People are working nearby and traffic might be controlled by a flag person. Speed limits can be as low as 25m/hr. If no speed limit, then drive at a reduced speed and obey flag person.

Vary in color. From left to right are: state, u.s., and interstate

Same as stop sign, stop yield right of way. And go when it's safe.
