Boyle's Law
At constant temperature, the absolute pressure and the volume of the gas are inversely proportional.

C=PxV
Charles' Law
At constant pressure, the volume of a gas is directly proportional to the change in the absolute temperature.

V1/T1=V2/T2
Henry's Law
The amount of any given gas that will dissolve in a liquid at a given temperature is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas.
Kinetic Theory of Gases
The kinetic energy of any gas at a given temperature is the same as the kinatic energy of any other gas at the same temperature.
Archimedes' Principle
Any object wholly or partially immersed in a fluid is bouyed up by a forc equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object.
Perilymph Fistula (Vertigo)
Fluid leaks from the inner ear.
Caloric Stimulation Vertigo
Cold water penetrates a preforated eardrum.
Benign Positional Vertigo
Occurs when the head is at a certain position
Alternobaric Vertigo
Inner or middle ears reach unbalanced pressure during decent or ascent.
DCS Type 1
Least serious, pain in the body, not immediatly life-threatening.
DCS Type 2
Most serious, can be immediatly life-threatining, mainly effects the nervous system.
Altitude DCS
Simple pain, effects the brain, usually expierienced by pilots and aircrew.
Arterial Gas Embolism (AGE)
Most serious potential complication of diving. Caused by an excess pressure inside the lungs that fails to vent during ascent.
