How are human and amphibians similar?
The body structure, or anatomy, of the frog is very similar to the anatomy of man. Both man and the frog have the same kinds of organs and systems of organs. The frog's anatomy, however, is much simpler.
What features does a frog have that is unique to the frog? What are their functions?
The frog has a nictitating membrane is to protect and moisten the eye. This is because, it acts as a transparent inner eyelid, keeping the eye protected from anything that could injure it. Also the position of its teeth at the very end of its mouth suggests that when the frog is getting food, it catches it and holds it with its teeth, but then swallows it whole.
