Compare and contrast bolus and chyme

Bolus is what is swallowed, travelling through the esophagus to the stomach. Once the bolus has combined with gastric juices it is termed chyme.

What are the 4 taste buds and where are their location?

Sweet - tip of the tongue


Salty - either side anterior
