Malignant Melanoma
Most Dangerous Melanoma

S/SX: enlarges, inflamed, sore, itches, ulcerates, bleeds, textural changes, color changes.

Spread to lymphatic and vascular system. metastasize to lymph nodes, skin, liver, lung, CNS.
Dysplastic Melanocyte Nevus
S/SX: Circumscibed margins, pigmented lesions, proliferation of atypical meloncyte.

D/D: Congential nevomelocytic nevi
Lentigo Maligna Melanoma
S/S: Resembles large flat freckle, tan, brown, black
Developes slowly over many years then ulcerates.

common to develope fragmented, palms, soles and subungual skin
Acral Lentiginous Melonoma
VERY AGGRESSIVE CANCER

Lesions have color change from Brown, black, blue and hypopigmented.

Macular with irregular well defined boarders and may be papular or nadular.

S/S: Red halo response to changing tumor.

D/D: Basal cell, actinic keratosis, verruce vulgaris, seborrhic kertatosis.

Tx: Surgical intervention, Moh's Sugery.

Nodule, pink growth slightly elevated rolled borders and crusted with center dell. white, yellow, or waxy look.

Face, forhead, temples.

S/S: Dark brown, sharp marginated symmteric, Hyperpigmented on face.

D/D: Butteryfly rash (SLE)

TX: 2-4% hypoquinone cream - test behind ear before use. sunscreen

Mostly common on driver side window. Face, Hand, forearm

S/S: Fair skin people, pink, poorly marginated, sclaly or cursted on Palpation. Discete, verrucous or kepatitic, sclae often, red or skin colored base. diagnosis BY FEEL

TX: Cryotheraphy, Liquid Nitrogen, trichloracetic Acid (TCA), Topical 5-FU
