Pays Nantais aspect?
Some are on the flat land around the mouth of the Loire river. There are rolling hills in Sevre-et-Maine and Coteaux de la Loire, with the best vineyards on gentle slopes. Some of the smaller valleys are actually too steep and so the vineyards are placed on the hilltops.

Mild and damp, but winters can be harsh and spring frosts troublesome. Summers are generally warm and sunny, although they can be rainy.
