PUSH OUT: 1. Closes the respective crossflow shutoff valve 2. The ON light extinguishes 3. The XFLOW/APU pump stops. FAIL: The respective XFLOW shutoff valve is not in the commanded position or the XFLOW/APU pump fails to operate when the left or right XFLOW shutoff valve opens. |
XFLOW AUTO OVERRIDE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT |
PUSH IN: Arms the XFLOW/APU pump for manual XFLOW operation. Automatic operation is disabled. The MAN light illuminates. PUSH OUT: Arms the XFLOW/APU pump for automatic crossflow operation. Manual operation is disabled. |
DUCT MONITOR SELECTOR SWITCH. TEST/NORM/LOOP A/LOOP B |
TEST: Simulates a duct failure to test the 10th and 14th stage loops. NORM: Leak detection and warning is provided in all pneumatic ducting in the fuselage, pylon, and wing areas. LOOP A: Tests the 10th stage loop A for continuity. LOOP B: Tests the 10th stage loop B for continuity. |
14th STAGE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT/DUCT FAIL |
PUSH IN: Associated bleed air shutoff valve opens. PUSH OUT: The associated bleed air shutoff valve closes. DUCT FAIL: Illuminates to indicate a failure in the associated 14th stage duct. The light extinguishes when the failure is isolated and the duct cools below a predetermined value. |
14th STAGE ISOLATION VALVE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT |
PUSH IN: Opens the 14th stage bleed air isolation valve. PUSH OUT: Closes the 14th stage bleed air isolation valve |
