Real rights (known as ius in rem)
When you have a real right you have a right over a tangible object. Meaning you can see it and sometimes touch it.
Personal rights (Known as ius personam)
When you have a personal right you have a right to a particular performance from another individual. Meaning that you need to benefit in return. Eg. Signing a contract for employment you must get paid a salary at the end of it.
