Explain how a microphone works
-Sound-waves hit the diaphragm (sheet o plastic in a microphone), causing it to vibrate
-Due to this, the coil of wire moves in and out through the magnesite field, causing a potential difference across the ends of the wire
-As the coil of the wire moves back and forth the pot dif switches direction
-Frequency if the changing potential difference=frequency of sound waves
-Changing pattern of potential difference is now passed through an amplifier & then into a moving-coil l speaker, which increases the sound volume
