What is your motivation?
Last year, we have heard about President Duterte's stand on contractualization: he wanted it to stop and told the company to take care of their employees, to pay their benefits and to stop unfair labor practices.
The abolition of contractualization has always been what contractual workers wanted for many years. This inspired us to know how employment status affects an employees: his(factors) and if there are differences on how short-term and long-term employees perform.
What is your study all about?
Accdng to earlier studies, there is a significant relationship between an employee's work perf and his employment status although the findings are highly varied. For e.g. Zanden 2014 on his study on (...) on
Wandera-permaneng have (higher procutivty)
the other hand Guest and Clinton 2006 on their study on (...) temporary workers are more contented, Ichino and riphan (temp are more motivated). Our study on 51talk Ph found that there is no significant difference on productivity of both employment status as the employees are highly satisfied with the company they are working.
Measurement Instrument
We've distributed Survey Questionnaire we've created based on our SOP to the part-time and full-time employees of 51talk ph
