Korean War
After WWII, Korea was divided into two nations, North Korea invaded South Korea to attempt to make it one communist nation. America came back and re-divided the nation again after much fighting.
Fidel Castro/Bay of Pigs Invasion
1: Led an uprising to overthrow a brutual dictator in Cuba. Thought to bring back democracy, but made agreements with Soviet Union.
2: Approved secret plan to overthrow Castro. When Kennedy became President, he decided, he decided to continue the plan. This invasion failed and was an embarrassing foreign policy for president Kennedy.
Vietman War/Ho Chi Minh
1: After WWII, Vietman declared independence from France and France refused, thus starting the Vietman War.
2: Communist leader who controlled North Vietnam
