- Organisations that use terror to make a stand against governments and civilians such as ; bombings, kidnappings, assassination and hostage-taking.
- Designed to influence political behaviour by extra normal means using threat or violence.
What communication techniques do terrorism organisations use?
- Violence for effect.
- Terrorism has an effect only if it is broadcasted widely within mass media which out of the normal acts are.
- They use violence to produce various psychological effects.
- They demonstrate their movements strength by gaining public sympathy and fear/chaos.
- Publicise all of their actions so that it is broadcasted on media platforms.
