Point symmetry
A rotation of 180° maps the image onto the pre-image
Line symmetry
You can draw a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line to split the pre-image into two congruent sides
Rotational symmetry
If you can rotate the figure around a point by less than 360°, and the image looks the same as the pre-image, it has rotational symmetry. The minimum angle you need to rotate the figure to achieve this symmetry is the angle or degree of rotation
