Primary interment
Burial in which all of the bones are in an anatomically "natural" arrangement. (i.e. extended or flexed skeletons)
Secondary interment
A burial in which the bones of a skeleton are not in a "natural anatomic relationship" but have been gathered together sometime after complete or partial disarticulation of the skeleton and then buried. Sometimes comprises a bundle of bones.
Bundle
Multiple interment
Burial in which more than one individual is present. (i.e. ossuaries, burial urns with 1+ individuals)
