What are the two types of modelling used in ICT?
- Modelling of objects (rooms, buildings, cars etc)
- Mathematical modelling (financial, calculations, spreadsheets etc)
What do computer models do?
Allow you to create a natural representation of an object
Examples - Effect of earthquakes, external views and the model can be rotated and parts can be shown in more details by zooming in.
What is mathematical modelling?
Used by spreadsheets and are based on rows and columns so sequencing can be used
