1) after age 2 growth percentile reflects 'rough' genetic influence on stature
- predict adult stature +/- 5 cm
2) known parental height at age 20 +/- 3 cm
female adult stature= (fathers height-13cm+mothers height)/2
male adult stature= (mothers height+13cm+fathers height)/2
