- HHPS (Household Hazardous Product Symbol) are placed on materials intended for household use
- These symbols warn consumers of the risks and precautions concerning products they use in the home
Work Place Safety
- This deals with Chemical safety in the workplace
- All workers involve the use of chemicals (even toner for a photocopier counts)
- This system is called WHMIS (workplace hazardous materials information system)
- This system is designed to protect people from products they use on a regular basis

C) MSDS (material safety data sheet)
D) Worker education and training
Lab Safety
- This section deals with safety rules and procedures for working in a laboratory
