Drinking waters in America Have been fluoridated to strengthen teeth, However it is not all beneficial. Many studies have been done regarding Fluoride and its relation to health and the environment.
The removal of over-fluoridated water is imperative due to the amount of toxic effects and health issues it has on the environment and to yourself.
LAST SENTENCE
-The purpose of this experiment was to tell whether the cyanobacteria in Azolla will absorb the fluoride.
-If the results are satisfactory, this can prevent any future harm to lakes and will add to many uses for Azolla.
We expect to see that there will be an absence of Fluoride in the left over solution.
THIRD SENTENCE
Azolla Filiculoides is one such biosorbent that has a low-cost and is highly effective for pollutant removal. We have used Azolla for phytoremediation of Over-Fluoridated water.
Phytoremediation is a new environmental friendly and economically attractive technique by using plants like Azolla to detoxify over-fluoridated water
