Pronouns.
A pronoun (I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody, etc.) is a word that takes the place of a noun. In the sentence Joe saw Jill, and he waved at her, the pronouns he and her take the place of Joe and Jill, respectively.
Yo: A mì, de mì, para mì, conmigo
Tù: a tì, de tì, para tì, contigo
Èl, ella, usted: No change
Nosotros: No change
Vosotros: No change
Ellos, ellas, ustedes: No change.
Complemento de Direct Object
The object that directly receives the action of the verb is called the direct object. "Ball" receives the action of the verb "hit." "Book" receives the action of the verb "reads." The direct object can also be a person.
Yo: me
Tù: te
Èl, ella, usted: lo, la
Nosotros: nos
Vosotros: os
Ellos, ellas, ustedes: los, las
Complemento de Indirect Object
An indirect object precedes the direct object and tells to whom or for whom the action of the verb is done and who is receiving the direct object. There must be a direct object to have an indirect object.
El, ella, usted: le
Ellos, ellas, ustedes: les
1. Object always before verb.
2. Indirect before Direct, if using both.
3. Never use le + lo together, change le to se.
