Define density.
Density is the measure of mass per unit of volume.
Density = Mass/Volume
The mass of a cube of iron is 217g and one side of the cube is 5cm. Calculate the density and volume of the cube.
Mass of iron cube = 217g
Length of One side of the cube = 5cm
Volume of cube = (one side)3
=> 5×3= 15
= 217/15
= 43.6 g per cm.
What is the S. I unit of density?
The S.I unit of density = kg m-1
What is the C. G. S unit of density?
